Georgia has a soul. Most Georgians profess Orthodoxy. The two main shrines of Georgia are the Jvari Monastery and the Svetitskhoveli Temple. Both shrines are located in the ancient capital of Georgia – Mtskheta. The enlightener of Georgia is Saint Nino. Her relics are kept in the Bodbe Monastery 2 km from Sighnaghi in Kakheti. It’s safe in Georgia. Contrary to popular opinion, Georgia is safe. There are no traffic police on the roads, there are armed “cordons” on the streets. An interesting observation is that all police stations in Georgia are made of glass – the law enforcement agencies of Georgia are transparent.

And yes, there is no corruption in Georgia. For violation of traffic rules, you will have to pay a fine. It will not be possible to “negotiate” with a policeman. There are no attacks in Georgia, you can walk the streets calmly – some locals don’t even close their cars, there are no drug addicts.

Georgia is ready to receive Russian tourists. Now the country is mainly visited by residents of the former USSR countries (Azerbaijan, Armenia, Ukraine, etc.), as well as Europeans. The number of tourists from Russia is not large yet. Nevertheless, the situation is actively changing: Georgian products appear on Russian shelves, and advertisements for Georgia as a tourist destination appear on television. Russian tour operators are also turning towards tourist Georgia and opening sales in this direction.
